Goals

The goals of DLNS are to:

  • Respond to the literacy needs of Deaf adults in Nova Scotia
  • Help Deaf adults improve reading, writing, math and life skills
  • Deliver accessible community-based adult literacy programming throughout Nova Scotia
  • Promote ASL/MSL literacy and Deaf Culture

A partnership of community members and organizations involved in adult literacy programming, DLNS follows Nova Scotia Department of Education standards and guidelines.
